Through the support of our generous donors, we’ve helped build and restore temple spaces that serve as spiritual, cultural, and communal hubs across Sri Lanka.
Through the support of our generous donors, we’ve helped build and restore temple spaces that serve as spiritual, cultural, and communal hubs across Sri Lanka.
In 2025 we built a brand new pagoda for the local Wadugama Sri Sudarshanarama Temple in Nehinna village, uplifting the lives of many in the surrounding community.
The construction of the new pagoda brought hundreds of people together to celebrate a shared moment of faith, unity and cultural heritage. Villagers gathered not only to witness the building of a sacred structure, but to participate in something deeply symbolic — a space for reflection, prayer and spiritual connection for generations to come.
The temple was also designed with a training centre on the ground floor, creating a space dedicated to education and opportunity. This centre will provide additional tutoring for children in the village, teaching essential skills such as IT, English and other practical subjects that can support their future studies and employment.
By combining spiritual preservation with educational development, the project supports both the inner and outer growth of the community. The pagoda strengthens faith and cultural identity, while the training centre helps equip the next generation with the tools they need to build stable, confident futures.
2021 – Dining hall complete with new furniture in Wadugama Sri Sudarshanarama Temple
2019 – Kitchen with all equipment and bathroom for Wadugama Sri Sudarshanarama Temple
2016 – Roof for the Meditation hall at Wadugama Sri Sudarshanarama Temple
2015 – Mains water and plumbing system for Alan Mathiniyaram Temple, a famous temple in Colombo headed by one of the most Senior monks in Sri Lanka
Our future aim is to grow our support network for Temples across Sri Lanka and continue to bring people the tools necessary to face life’s challenges with patience and spiritual strength. We are also planning to develop a rehab centre within a monastery where people can go to heal under the kind guidance of resident Buddhist monks.
